Random Round-Up

These "card savers" are an incredibly simple invention, and yet I can't believe I didn't think of it myself. They're little stickers that go inside a used greeting card, making them instantly re-usable, and they come with matching white envelopes--all in a variety of greeting card sizes. Love that idea, except I wish you could buy them individually to match up with the cards you already have.

Also, I'm having some hair issues. I've been growing it out because I'm not sure how I want to wear it for the wedding, but as I'm beginning the descent into gray-hairdom, I've finally caved and begun to dye it. Only with all of the saving we're trying to do for the wedding and honeymoon, I've been doing it myself, and now...I have roots. I was thinking of just dyeing it all darker to match my normal winter color, but then once spring rolls around, I'll have to get fake highlights to recreate the natural ones I get from the sun. And, while I'm OK with being a wintery brunette, I've been a blonde for most of my life (what is the deal with your hair getting darker the older you get, anyway?), I think I'd like to be a blonde at the wedding. So...should I just bite the bullet, dye it myself now and then have it done professionally for the wedding? Or should I just deal with the roots, let it grow out, and try to get my natural highlights back by June? I suppose another option would be to get a professional to do something with highlights right now as a transition, and then get it done again before the wedding. God, I am such a hair failure.

And since we're already on the subject of hair, I wanted to share some updos I'm considering for the wedding. I think with the style of my dress, having my hair up is probably the best option. What do you think?

number 2 is the most adorable...I'd say go to the salon and ask them. It would truly suck to be thisclose to the wedding and not be able to do soemthing great with your hair.
