Get carded: Etsy holiday cards, Part One

I always like to support independent boutiques and stores, which is why Etsy.com is one of my favorite web sites. Here's a round-up of some great holiday card options I found while cruising through.

Jill Dryer has some hilarious card offerings, including the "Trees of the Architects" and "Hairdos for the Holidays" cards. (They're on my holiday card wish list, so if you get one of them from me, act surprised, OK?)

Etsy Shop Electric Boogaloo has its shit together this year.

TurtlePapers offers a slightly more traditional, but still unique holiday card.

Lovely.

I am currently coveting this bag. Deliriously, pathetically, hard-core COVETING this bag.

Someone, please buy it for me before I break down and buy it for myself.

Coveting.

Last weekend, my husband and I went to the Italian festival in Charlotte, and of course there were plenty of Vespas on display. Now that my commute is about two miles and seven minutes, I'm really longing for a mode of transportation that will get me to work in style and with less to spend on gas.

On a whim, I searched eBay for some Vespas (the one in the photo is at $2800 right now) -- and I found a whole lot of awesome, vintage ones. They're not terribly expensive, but the shipping costs ($500), and worry that the delivered product won't match the photo, are enough to make me want to search out local ones first.

Amy's Candy Kitchen

Why did I not know about the gorgeous caramel and candied apples at Amy's Candy Kitchen in time for my wedding? They would've made the perfect favors for a farm wedding.

How beautiful are these?
