My progress...

Yesterday, I sketched out each of the parts of my wedding and made notes for each thing so I have a visual check list and don't forget any of the small details.

I ordered candles for my tables.
I had wanted tealights but for some reason votives are much cheaper (the cost of candles and holders). After doing my price comparison, I ended up with the cudge.net deal you hear from everyone. 72 white votives AND plain glass holders for $35.44 but I never saw one mention of the S/H (approx. $20!).
Final cost: $54.63
I'll let you know if they look cheap.

Ordered 2 samples for aisle decorations.
Spent $5 for a 2 cup sample of freeze-dried rose petals from petalgarden.com. The rose petals will be used to make a runner. I actually found that flyboynaturals.com is cheaper but after reading this review, I just ordered the one sample from petalgarden to test the color and quality rather than make a comparison.
I also contacted Cathy of cathyswraps.com (she has been wonderfully sweet and quick) for chair decorations. She responded to my email the next day and also called me to find out more specifics. In only a few days, I received a brochure for my color choices. I chose one, called her and now she is sending me a sample of the one I chose for free.

Ordered sparklers.
There is such a huge price jump from the 20" to 36" sparkler. I ended up going with the 20" that different site claimed would burn between 1.4~2.5 minutes each. Most places over free shipping, so I didn't think it really mattered where I ordered them from. I chose sparklingceremony.com (mid-range in frills website so I figured slightly lower prices because lower overhead) and got 108 20" sparklers for $54.

Coming up with thank you gifts for our parents and finding tall shoes that don't look too casual to walk on grass may cause me an ulcer in the end. Help
